Ingredients:
· 2 tbsp. Deeply Root’d Jerk Seasoning
· ½ tbsp. Deeply Root’d Blackened Seasoning for extra kick (optional)
· 1 cup Olive Oil
· 1 pound of 80/20 Ground Beef (Makes 3 patties)
· 1- frying Pan/Skillet
· Hamburger Buns
Directions:
· In a mixing bowl add the 1 pound of ground beef and 2 tbsp. of olive oil
· Add the jerk Seasoning and optional blackened seasoning
· Mix the ground beef and seasoning together
· Divide beef into equal size patties (1/3-inch think)
· Heat pan or skillet between medium to high for 1 minute
· Add ½ cup of olive oil spreading the oil all over the skillet.
· Add the beef patties on one side and let it cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until charred.
· Carefully flip the patties over and continue cooking for 2 to 3 more minutes or until charred (internal temp 165°F.)
· Serve the burgers with the hamburger bun immediately.
· (Optional) add any dressing or topping as you see fit
